Inside the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Volunteers recruitment
Last January, the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Organizing Committee officially launched its Volunteers Programme to recruit the 2,500 Volunteers that will accompany us in this exceptional adventure. Our recruitment team is fully mobilized and actively preparing the Competition, meeting with hundreds of enthusiastic and interested potential Volunteers.
Since the launch of our Volunteers Programme, our recruitment team has been doing a series of interviews, getting to meet all the people who are interested in joining us to support the organization of the 47th WorldSkills Competition. Every week, the team organizes meetings with a wide range of potential future Volunteers, either online or directly in the headquarters of WorldSkills Lyon 2024. Current Volunteers are also actively helping us recruit their potential future counterparts.
The recruitment team is committed to developing the skills of all people, and our Volunteers Programme reflects our values of inclusivity and diversity. It is open to anyone motivated and available, from the age of 12 years old. Numerous enthusiastic people, including families, students, high-schoolers, and others, have been meeting with us to become a part of the big team of Volunteers for WorldSkills Lyon 2024.
The process for becoming a Volunteer for WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is simple: after registering on our Volunteers Programme recruitment platform, future Volunteers meet our team for a discussion and choose their future category of mission. They then receive official confirmation, are assigned to a mission, and get to become part of the WorldSkills Volunteers family! If you’re interested and motivated by the idea of helping to organize the world’s biggest skills Competition, don’t hesitate to contact our Volunteers recruitment team, and join us in the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 adventure.
