SKILL: 02 – INFORMATION NETWORK CABLING

DESCRIPTION : Visitors will be offered the opportunity from LEGRAND to create a optic link as well as the creation of a copper computer link, the whole will be repositioned in a cabinet as in reality.
The copper products used as well as the cabinet will be of the Legrand brand. No mark will be placed on the space apart from the existing indication on the cabinet.
The whole animation will be offered by a teacher and his students.
SKILL: 03 – MANUFACTURING TEAM CHALLENEGE

DESCRIPTION : 1. Non-destructive testing of power plant equipment
The presentation shows the use of advanced technology to inspect equipment without drilling, through: Eddy current demonstrations, manipulations with ultrasounds, weld testing on test samples.
2. Valve/mechanical trades: The presentation includes a model of a valve and a model of a turbine with augmented reality, allowing maintenance actions to be simulated.
3. Presence of an interactive terminal link the demonstrated professions with the educational paths leading to them.

On a damaged car fender. We invite you try two bodywork sheet metal repair techniques:
- Inertia straightening, using a stud welder / stud puller with a compressed air gun.
- Manual planishing, using tools such as a hammer or dolly.
The objective is to reduce the largest surface imperfections by acting on the ridges (bumps) that create tension around the defect.

SKILL: 14 – AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE

DESCRIPTION : Activity 1: How to refuel a latest generation H160 helicopter? Implementation in the form of a class made up of future technicians using the Virtual Maintenance Trainer (Digital trainer for helicopter maintenance procedures) developed by Airbus and Telespazio.
The young technicians will learn and apply the appropriate procedure through their tablet and the maintenance simulator.
Activity 2: Introduction to piloting and identification of the on-board instruments of an H125 helicopter?
Young technicians are introduced to the operation and piloting of an AIRBUS helicopter through a flight simulator while being immersed in a real flight using a virtual reality simulator. This activity allows the future technician to globally understand his environment and its constraints.The general public will be able to enjoy this flight via a return on the big screen.

DESCRIPTION : At the GROHE Try-a-Skill area for Plumbing & Heating we are offering several activities: Turn the Wheel of Fortune in order to get some quiz questions or give-aways. On top of that there will be a small competition where you need to exchange actuation plates at an installation frame.

Participants will setup and operate a small agriculture robot to work on a specific task related to farm production with the goal of increasing efficiency and safety on the farm. With an aging agricultural workforce and changes to immigration laws, farm labor scarcity is an issue facing the agriculture industry. Robots can be seen as one solution to food production labor shortages. By automating jobs that are not seen as desirable, higher paying jobs are created for people to move into management and programming of these robots.

In this workshop, you will learn how to create a STANLEY photo frame by cutting and assembling 4 pieces of wood. Follow these simple steps to make your own photo frame:
Step 1: Wood cutting with a STANLEY miter saw to the right dimensions to create a 10 x 15 cm frame. Measurements can be taken using a STANLEY tape measure.
Step 2: Assembling the wood pieces with a DEWALT stapler, ensuring proper alignment for a strong fixation.

DESCRIPTION : DEWALT Coat Rack Workshop
In this workshop, you will learn how to create a small coat rack using only 3 pieces. Follow these 3 simple steps to make your own DEWALT coat rack:
- Wood cutting with a miter saw: Use a miter saw to cut the wood to the desired dimensions. Make sure to obtain pieces of wood that are the appropriate size for your coat rack.
- Drilling the locations for the dowels: Use a drill with a drill bit to create holes where the three dowels will be attached. These dowels will serve as hooks for hanging your coats. Be sure to measure and mark the locations before drilling.
- Assembling the wood pieces: Use a stapler to secure the wood pieces together. Ensure that the wood pieces are firmly attached to guarantee the stability of the coat rack.
