Secure priority access for WorldSkills Conference 2024

WorldSkills Conference will take place on 11 and 12 September 2024 alongside WorldSkills Lyon 2024.  The event will bring together governments, policymakers, industry, leaders in education, and young professionals from around the world, for discussions and actions under the theme “Moving TVET to the top of the global agenda.”

Every year, WorldSkills Conference is an amazing opportunity for stakeholders in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to address major issues and make collective progress under a common theme.

This year, the discussions will focus on the theme “Moving TVET to the top of the global agenda”. WorldSkills aims to influence the post-2030 agenda to recognize TVET as critical for sustainable global development. The spotlight will be put on the evident benefits of TVET programmes in driving economies and equipping young people and adults for the majors shifts in the labor market.

“2024 is a crucial year to advance the skills agenda. Our theme of “Moving TVET to the top of the global agenda” is a call to action for all those who know that our current environmental, economic, and social challenges can only be solved with the prioritization of skills development.”

David Hoey, CEO of WorldSkills International
