Media accreditation for WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is open
The WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Organizing Committee is delighted to announce that the accreditation platform for all media is now open. Print, broadcast, and social media representatives from the entire world are now invited to register to cover the much-anticipated 47th WorldSkills Competition.
Numerous media outlets from around the globe have expressed their desire to cover the world’s biggest skills Competition, and put the spotlight on the 1,400 Competitors from 70 countries who will showcase their excellence and compete in 62 skills. We’re therefore pleased to officially open registration for print, broadcast, and social media representatives – whether they represent Member countries and regions, corporations, educational institutions, or media outlets. Packages for hotel and transport options are also available, until 1 May.
The media plays a crucial role in amplifying WorldSkills’ global presence, highlighting how skills form the core of our societies, and showing that young skilled people are the ones shaping the futures of all around the world. WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is expecting around 1,000 media representatives from all over the world. A Media Centre will be dedicated to them at Eurexpo Lyon, the Competition venue, as well as at the Ceremonies venues, with specific equipment and facilities.
Considering other major international events planned in France such as the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we recommend that media representatives seeking a visa initiate their application process as soon as possible.
