The WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Organizing Committee has announced the appointment of Franck Le Roux as General Director of December 1, 2022. In close collaboration with Max Roche, President of WorldSkills Lyon 2024 and Olivier Gainon, General delegate of WorldSkills France, Franck takes responsibility of the organization of the WorldSkills Competition 2024. Its primary objective will be to do everything possible to ensure that this unique event is a success for the host territory, our country and the WorldSkills movement.

Franck Le Roux began his military career as an Air Force fighter pilot. He then held several management positions in training centers, to become Planning Director of the National Center for Air Operations. He continued his career in the United States as an instructor in the planning and conduct of air operations and then returned to France as Director of Education and Training in a NATO center of excellence.
