As Paris recently captivated the world with the Olympic Games, Lyon is now ready to step into the limelight, celebrating the skills that make such great events possible. In just 30 days, the city will transform into the global capital of skills, hosting the 47th WorldSkills Competition. This highly anticipated event promises to highlight Lyon’s dynamism while showcasing the very best in the world of vocational training and youth excellence.  

The journey to WorldSkills Lyon 2024 began in 2019 when Lyon was selected to host the 47^th WorldSkills Competition. This honor was solidified in 2022 when the WorldSkills flag was officially handed over to us, marking the beginning of preparations for a Competition that promises to be an unforgettable showcase of skills, innovation, and young talents.
