Educational Kit

As a true platform for the discovery of skills, the WorldSkills Competition is making an educational kit available for you, in which you will find:

62 skills fact sheets: A complete presentation of each skill, with examples of training courses, Champions’ testimonials, and a contextualization of the trials during the Competition.

5 educational activities: Produced in collaboration with ONISEP, adapted to different audiences (especially pupils, and anyone thinking about their career plans), also including a quiz specially designed to help you identify careers that may be of interest to you (Activity 1).

69 country profiles: A presentation of the Member countries of the WorldSkills movement taking part in WorldSkills Lyon 2024, their specific features and research activities.

When and how to use it?

This educational kit is designed to facilitate the discovery of skills, and to help students reflect on their career choices and career plans. It can be used independently or in combination with a visit to the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Competition, which will take place at Eurexpo Lyon from 10 to 15 September 2024. We recommend about one activity a month if you want to discover them all before the end of the school year. Various “extras” could be proposed during the year, in particular to prepare students for their visit to the Competition in September 2024.
